read between the lines
gleeful i know this ought to have been more obvious, but glee sounds SO much better with really good earmuff headphones on -- something only my school library could provide.my last day of school was an elective exam that took only 30 minutes to complete, so i spent the remaining nine hours in school going through the first two discs of season 1 (something i've never done before, because for some reason, i've just never been a fan of musicals, and although i've watched some episodes on and off, and i saw glee in 3d twice and loved chris colfer's swaying hips, the show never really hooked me… until now). it probably should be a good thing, but i was bugged by three random students who either pointed to their friends that i was watching glee or just plain sat down next to me just to watch the show too (creepiest moment ever)…i mean, i never get this kind of attention when watching x-files (okay just once when this fellow fanatic said "oh, i thought i was the only one who still watched this," and respectfully walked away), so…it's definitely a testament to the show's popularity. and i'm pretty sure one of them must have borrowed the last 3 discs (maximum borrowing limit) of season 1 off the shelf when i came back to borrow discs 2-4, which i've just finished off today. got so inspired that i rushed back that monday night itself to get a kurt hummel season 1 haircut, another haircut which our hopeless chinese-educated hairdressers butchered yet again (my sides are nearly shaved off, what the hey...but at least the fringe is nearly right). and on another note, i don't like the new blogger layout. damn, so much to post on. so many good things have happened that have never happened before in my life. hope to update soon (it's summer break! first time i can officially call it that! yay!). |
