read between the lines
moving along Come My Wayby SKILLET Hundreds come from everywhere Just to see your face and touch the healer's hand Desperate, I push through the crowd If I could touch your clothes I could feel your power Come my way Come my way Come my way Please look And notice me Just to release my pain Just to know your name Come my way I'm out of touch I'm out of reach I've got the faith to believe Am I out of touch or out of reach What would it take for you to walk towards me I'm out of touch, out of reach But I'm running towards you and it's all I believe Come my way Come my way Come my way Just a touch -- it's so easy to think otherwise. to think, like in the song, you're out of touch, or you're somehow left behind and alone in this sense. or that there is no future, no end to all......this. but realising that god, more often than not, tends to work gradually and not overnight, as we would all like him to, puts things in perspective i guess. besides which is better, die trying or try dying? anyway if there's anything i've realised, false optimism is better than real pessimism, because it actually pays off with real benefits in the end. still working on that though. |
