read between the lines
finally it was like opening a belated birthday present from god. there, lying on the table was my true blue driving license (probationary). now, i know my ex-classmates from jb might be thinking, no big deal, we got ours when we were 17 or 18 already, but for me, late though it is, it's still worth celebrating, albeit a bit embarassing to mention sometimes (like, how do you go, hey, i finished my license at this age) because this means i can legally be on the roads.only thing is i have to find a car, haha. hopefully when i start working, i could start taking up a loan and purchasing one of those ubiquitous yet affordable kancils. or rent a car. or occasionally borrow a friend's car just to keep my driving skills in check for my 2 years of probation, lah. but the thing is, the very thought of finally being able to get on the malaysian highway or, when i get my entry permit, drive into singapore when it's toll-free during the weekends just fills me with glee already. of course this is just all merry thinking, and i might probably not be able to do this for a long, long time since i've living under mrs. hitler's rule, but hey, she can't keep me here forever. man. i've much to update from this week before i forget. |
