read between the lines
bewitched with this song i am listening to The History Boys OST's version of bewitched, bothered and bewildered sung by rufus wainwright. finally having managed to download this piano-heavy cover, i am in several states of bliss. it's in the same vein as chet baker's my funny valentine.i remember sitting right until the end of credits at the cinema while this was playing, even though it was really late. and the other ten or so of the audience did the same. i can just close my eyes and float out into the night with this song soothing my eardrums. will upload it when i remember. p.s. rufus' version of hallelujah from an OC episode sucked though, probably because i already heard kevin max's unusual voice sing the words before he did. later note: there appears to be something wrong with my server because i can't upload it...just like all the other big files i've tried to upload in the past. so i guess i'll just have to settle with this sample or this other version that's not half as bad (also from the movie, but sung during the movie by two characters). |
